Our Vision

"Understanding the complexity of hidden harm is not the end, it is the beginning of our journey to systemic and compassionate practice."

Our vision is to strengthen safeguarding practice by equipping professionals with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to intervene effectively in the context of hidden harms such as exploitation and domestic abuse. Through our experience we recognise that sustainable change requires a whole family approach, and an approach that sees the child in the context of their relationships, environment, and lived experiences.

With over 40 plus years of combined experience in social work and criminal justice, we are committed to supporting practitioners to respond to complexity with confidence, compassion, and purpose. We deliver training that is rooted in trauma-informed, strengths-based practice and is underpinned by a deep understanding of the dynamics that drive risk and vulnerability within families. We understand the many issues that young people and their families face that drives the push and pull factors and we recognise the value of focusing on the intricacies of the hidden harms they are facing.

We understand that behind every child at risk is a network of relationships that may hold both risk and potential for resilience. By focusing on relational, evidence-informed practice, we help professionals to move beyond surface-level assessments and engage meaningfully with families, building safety collaboratively and promoting long-term wellbeing.

We believe that effective safeguarding is not just about protection, but about creating the conditions in which children and families can heal, grow, and thrive. Our aim is to empower and upskill professionals to listen deeply, intervene with confidence, and make a lasting difference in the lives of those they support.
